S4C called at the Hall to follow up on their programme on the home delivery meal service that Neuadd Cwmllynfell Hall had set up to support local people during the Covid19 pandemic and lockdown. The project was aimed primarily at vulnerable people adversely affected by the pandemic. The S4C team were impressed by what the Hall has done during the Covid19 crisis for its residents and remarked on the great community spirit that exists in the village.

With the support of Cwmllynfell Community Council, we are now making and delivering hot meals for local people during the coronavirus crisis. The low-cost meals are for people who are most affected by the pandemic. These may be pensioners, people living alone, people with a disability or ill health or those on a very low income. We are grateful to the volunteers who have come forward to help with deliveries. The meals will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 10.00am – 2.00pm. Orders are taken over the phone on 01639 831284. Every precaution will be taken to keep people safe, including our staff and volunteers. For updates on the Delivery Service and the menus that will be available please follow us on Facebook: Cwmllynfell neuadd hall.
