Welcome to Neaudd Cwmllynfell Hall
Neuadd Cwmllynfell Hall is a voluntary organisation that manages a community centre in the village of Cwmllynfell, which is situated in the Twrch Valley 16 miles north-east of Swansea on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons. A new centre was built on the site of a former Miners Welfare Hall and completed in 2003. The centre is very active and provides a wide range of social, sport and recreational activities for people of all ages and abilities. It also runs a community cafe CAFFI’R NEUADD. It was awarded The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (the equivalent of an MBE for a group) in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Honours List 2022, which is the highest award for voluntary organisations in the UK, for its work during the Covid pandemic.
We are grateful for grants from Neath Port Talbot Borough Council, Cwmllynfell Community Council, and The National Lottery Community Fund.
We welcome any suggestions for new activities in the Hall. Feel free to discuss them with the Hall Manager or a Trustee.
We’re always on the lookout for willing volunteers to helps us. If you have some free time to offer your services please get in touch with the Hall Manager for more information.
